The awards put customers at the heart of the industry and over 30,000 votes were cast across all categories over 13 weeks. Credit Information Partner of the Year was decided by overall client feedback score, which placed TransUnion at number one for the industry.

Kelli Fielding, TransUnion’s managing director of consumer interactive in the UK said: “It’s an honour to receive this award and we want to thank all the customers that voted for us and shared their feedback. Credit information is at the heart of what we do we have an accurate and comprehensive picture of each person, and we steward it with care. By ensuring that each consumer is reliably and safely represented in the marketplace, we make trust possible between businesses and consumers and this recognition is a testament to that.

“We also work with partners including credit score providers, leading banks and other lenders, to give consumers easy access to their TransUnion credit report and score. This empowers individuals to take control of their data identity which influences the finance they can access and the opportunities, experiences and offers they receive. We hope this award will encourage even more businesses to use our consumer credit platforms to enable credit education and empowerment for their customers.”

A spokesperson for the Consumer Credit Awards added: “This is a very well-deserved win for TransUnion and definitely one that their clients believed in, as the scores and comments were amazing.”
