TransUnion sells digital marketing business to Jellyfish

We have announced today the sale of Latitude, our UK-based digital marketing business, to Jellyfish – a digital partner to some of the world’s leading brands.

Latitude has offices in Warrington, UK and Dubai, UAE and will become part of the global Jellyfish group, which employs over 700 people across 18 offices and is headquartered at The Shard in London.

Satty Saha, CEO of TransUnion in the UK said: “We’re very pleased to confirm the sale of Latitude to Jellyfish. It’s a great fit, given the synergies between the two, and will be an exciting prospect for clients in the digital marketing arena, whilst enabling us to focus on our core growth plan.”

Founded in 2001 and acquired by TransUnion (formerly Callcredit) in 2011, Latitude has a well-established reputation as an innovative digital marketing agency, with services which include search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), programmatic display advertising, software development and creative and content services.

Director of Latitude, Rick Lamb, said: “This is fantastic news for Latitude. Our existing clientele in the UK and in Dubai will benefit from an enhanced range of services, and with the investment and support of the Jellyfish network, we can continue to innovate to provide the very best in digital services driven by insight.”

Rob Pierre, CEO of Jellyfish, added: “This acquisition comes at a great time as we continue with the next phase of our global expansion. As well as giving us our first ever presence in the north of England, this move coincides with the launch of our Dubai office and will help bolster our presence there. We instinctively felt that Latitude would be a really good match and are looking forward to welcoming the team to the Jellyfish group.”
