TransUnion marks milestone in UK brand migration
Since acquiring Callcredit over nine months ago, in June 2018, TransUnion has been integrating the Leeds-based business – the UK’s second largest credit reference agency – into the group’s successful global operating model.
Today, the company celebrates another step forward in the migration journey following the formal change in legal entities. Callcredit Limited has now changed its registered company name to TransUnion International UK Limited, whilst Callcredit Information Group Limited has changed its registered company name to TransUnion Information Group Limited.
TransUnion has been operating internationally for over 30 years and currently has a presence in more than 30 countries. As a leading global risk and information solutions provider to businesses and consumers, TransUnion strives to use information for good, helping organisations to optimise their risk-based decisions, and enabling consumers to understand and manage their personal information.
Satrajit “Satty” Saha, CEO of TransUnion in the UK, who previously worked with TransUnion CIBIL in India, explained: “TransUnion has a global mindset, but operates on a local level to ensure we can support businesses and consumers with products and services that are tailored to their needs. The formal name change is another milestone on our journey here in the UK and we’re looking forward to the next phase of strengthening our UK operations, focusing on our core offering as well as introducing new products and services to benefit consumers and organisations.”
