Skipton Information Group acquires analytics company DecisionMetrics

The Skipton Information Group (SIG) has announced its acquisition of analytics company DecisionMetrics. DecisionMetrics will join the other businesses that make up SIG - Callcredit, EuroDirect, GMAP and SIG's most recent purchase, online payment service provider, Legatio Technologies Ltd.

DecisionMetrics is an analytics company specialising in the development and implementation of scorecards and affordability assessment. Its unique multi-bureau implementation software, DecisionBureau, de-duplicates and consolidates multiple credit searches, resulting in enhanced credit reports which are then returned in a format to match the lender's existing systems.

DecisionMetrics' lead Directors are Gary Scott and Andrew Jennings both ex directors of Scorex UK.

Gary Scott, Director, DecisionMetrics commented:

"The Skipton Information Group is the perfect partner. It brings the financial strength, stability and resources we need but at the same time enables us to continue to operate independently. Our belief and commitment to multi-bureau solutions is equally shared both by Skipton Information Group and Callcredit and this will provide us with even greater momentum in our endeavour to create a truly multi-bureau credit industry."

Joining DecisionMetrics and the Skipton Information Group as Strategic Consultants are Graham Platts and Mike O'Connor who previously led Scorex globally. They will also be joining the operational board of DecisionMetrics.

Mike Green, Chief Executive of SIG added:

"DecisionMetrics is a key piece in the jigsaw of us realising our vision of becoming the leading supplier of consumer knowledge and information in the UK."
