Senior sales appointment reflects increasing demand for EuroDirects’ portfolio

Leading marketing intelligence specialists EuroDirect have appointed Alex Simonson as Senior Consultant.

The appointment marks the company's commitment to servicing existing and prospective clients and comes as a result of massive growth in demand for EuroDirect's leading edge marketing intelligence, GIS and data management services.

Alex joins the company from his previous position as Director of Strategic Alliances at Claritas Acxiom, where he spent over nine years. He was previously Senior Consultant for Micromarketing at Claritas.

Before joining the major DM player Claritas Acxiom, his previous career history saw him employed as Senior Account Manager for The Marketing Organisation. Over the last few years, he has shared his industry expertise with students studying for their IDM Diploma, by lecturing in Customer Segmentation and Targeting.

In his new position at EuroDirect, Alex will be responsible for contracting new business and developing current end user clients across all vertical markets. He will also be tasked with developing strategic alliances and partnerships with other key players in the direct marketing arena. He will be looking at EuroDirects' complete product portfolio, including targeting data, segmentation systems and marketing information software as well as its wealth of analytical and consultancy services.
