PDSA Chooses Callcredit Marketing Solutions for Supporter Engagement Brief

In a competitive pitch, leading UK veterinary charity PDSA has chosen Callcredit Marketing Solutions to design a supporter engagement programme for its next phase of fundraising.  The project will include contact strategy, segmentation, targeting and channel models.

The project will be led by Callcredit Marketing Solutions' Consulting practice who will be tasked with developing a detailed supporter contact strategy aimed at increasing the value and commitment of PDSA  supporters across the full range of 'products' from raffle through to regular giving.

As part of the project, Callcredit Marketing Solutions will build behavioural and demographic segmentations as well as a number of product specific targeting models. Callcredit Marketing Solutions will use these insights to evaluate the optimal journey for each supporter and define the data and contact strategy required to achieve this. This will help PDSA understand the best way of engaging with each donor and assess the suitability of available channels, including  direct mail, phone, email, SMS and social media.

John Cole, Deputy Marketing Director, PDSA, comments:
"PDSA receives no funding from either the Government or the National Lottery.  We rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to fund the veterinary services we provide to the pets of those in need.

"The PDSA contact strategy has successfully delivered over the years.  However, as our product range, channels of giving and communications have increased, it is now time to review our supporter engagement programme.  We are delighted to be working with Callcredit Marketing Solutions on this project, which we believe will shape PDSA's strategy for the future."

Tim Pottinger, Callcredit Marketing Solutions Commercial Director adds:
"We are delighted to be working with such a leading charity as PDSA on this supporter value building programme, which is crucial to the delivery of PDSA's core objectives. By creating new supporter journeys, we can help PDSA move supporters up the donor ladder in the most cost effective manner possible and help them nurture more profitable and committed relationships within their donor base."
