Orkney Islands happy with Aspireview implementation progress

Phase 1 of the implementation of Coactiva’s Aspireview performance and risk management software has progressed as planned, with dashboard design and upload of the new Council Plan 2013-2018, which sets out the priorities of Elected Members for the next five years.

Also uploaded are the Council’s Corporate Risk Register, 55 Performance Indicators from SOLACE (the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives), some Internal and External Audits, and a number of "How Good is Our Council?" self-assessments.

These dashboards were the subject of a live demonstration in April for various stakeholders and were well received by those in attendance. Training for the seven Council system administrators was held earlier this month. Following Phase 2 upload of new service plan actions, and refreshed service Performance Indicators and risk registers in July, the system is on track to go fully live in August.

Chair of the Orkney Islands Council’s Performance and Risk Management Software Project Team said“I am pleased that with the support of Coactiva, and the work of the Project Team and others within the Council, the project has progressed as planned, and I look forward to staying on track for going live in August”.
