Numero sold by TransUnion to former management team

TransUnion has sold Stockport-based Numero, which it acquired as part of Callcredit in 2018, to new owners including Alister Harris and Mark Chamberlain, who have both long been involved in the running of the business.

Founded in 2001, Numero offers customer experience management services to clients spanning a range of sectors.

Speaking of the divestment, TransUnion’s UK CEO Satrajit “Satty” Saha said: “Under the new ownership team, which brings extensive industry expertise as well as specific past experience of managing Numero, we’re confident that the business will thrive in this next phase of its evolution.

“Whilst our focus at TransUnion remains on our core credit products, and our wider global offering, we wish Numero every success in this exciting new venture.”

Alister Harris, one of Numero’s new directors said: “We’re delighted to have this opportunity to build on our industry specific knowledge, expertise and client relationships to develop the business as we prepare for the future of customer engagement. Our existing clients will continue to enjoy the same high standards of service but will also benefit from the investment and enhancements planned.”

With its history spanning close to two decades, Numero has a strong client base, operating in core sectors such as retail, finance, telecoms, logistics, utilities and public sector, and will continue to offer innovative solutions across every communication channel and at every customer touch point.
