New Sales Director for Callcredit

Leeds-based credit reference agency Callcredit has appointed Mike Davies as its new sales director.

A well-known figure in the credit industry with management experience across all aspects of the credit lifecycle, Mike has spent the last six years at Capital One, latterly as head of business solutions for UK cards.

Prior to Capital One, Mike worked for five years as a systems consultant and delivery manager at another well-known credit reference agency, working widely with blue-chip clients in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

"Having witnessed Callcredit's development from the client's perspective," he said, "I know just how good their solutions are and how easy they are to implement. So joining Callcredit as sales director was a very easy decision to make."

Commenting on the appointment, managing director John McAndrew said:

"I am delighted that Mike is joining Callcredit. He has the leadership skills and lender experience that will ensure our growth continues and accelerates."

In his spare time, Mike enjoys watching rugby and has recently taken up long distance cycling and marathon running.
