Great turn out for our Measuring Outcomes Workshop

We had a great turn out for our first Measuring Outcomes workshop this month where we introduced Outcome Based Accountability (OBA), also known as Results Based Accountability™ (RBA) to Social Housing organisations.

OBA was developed by Mark Friedman, the author of "Trying Hard is Not Good Enough". It is an established method, which has been widely used in the UK public sector. OBA helps organisations focus on delivering effective outcomes rather than measuring detailed performance indicators, which may miss the point. The two hour workshop addressed common challenges with planning, performance management and reporting that every organisation faces and how to apply OBA effectively for better results.

Testimonials from the workshop

"Thanks to Coactiva for coming in and running a workshop for ourselves and other Housing Providers in the area. OBA is increasingly an area of interest  for us and this introduction really engaged us all.  We will definitely be thinking about  how we might want to use this technique in the future." Suzanne Wigmore, Welfare Reform Project Manager, GreenSquare Group

“Useful, thank you. Has prompted me to think about outcomes and measuring them in a different way”

“Some really interesting ideas – a new approach”

“Excellent presentation, really looking forward to looking at some of the EBooks”
