GMAP strengthen its Shanghai team

As part of GMAP Consulting’s expansion in China, Anna Chan has joined the GMAP Shanghai Office as a Business Development Manager.

Originally from Canada, Anna has nearly 10 years’ international experience working in financial analysis and forecasting, market development, client relationship management and sales and marketing.

Anna has lived in China since 2011, where her focus has been on market research and developing new business opportunities largely within the Chinese retail market.

“I’m really excited to be a part of the growing GMAP Shanghai team.” Anna said.

“GMAP has a strong and unique offering for retailers in the Chinese market. GMAP can provide comprehensive network planning support including location analysis, store optimisation, performance benchmarking and revenue forecasting – no one else is really doing this at such a deep level in China so I feel there is a huge potential for growth.”

“I want to ensure that as a brand GMAP is recognised for the innovative insight it delivers.”

Michael Jennings, GMAP’s International Business Development Director, added “We are delighted to add Anna to our team in this region and we are confident that she will continue to promote our innovative blend of data and analysis to identify opportunities for retail expansion for our growing client base in China.”
