GMAP Expands Automotive Division
GMAP Consulting, one of the Automotive Industry's
leading suppliers of market intelligence, has announced the
expansion of its automotive division to deal with significant
growth in both the manufacturer and dealer teams. The automotive
division sits alongside GMAP's existing retail, forecourt, and
financial services divisions.
GMAP has invested in a number of new appointments within the
automotive team to respond to the growing needs of its automotive
clients and as a reflection of the importance and significance it
places on this sector.
GMAP provides market intelligence to a number of clients around
the world, including manufacturers such as Ford of Europe, Ford of
Britain, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover Suzuki, Volvo, in addition to
several large dealer groups in the UK .
The team has now been bolstered by the appointment of Andy Fowler
who takes on the role of New Business Director and Karen Bamford
who joins as Business Development Manager.
Andy has many years sales experience within the automotive
industry and has more recently held senior sales positions in the
marketing and retail data arena. He brings with him a wide
knowledge of how market and marketing intelligence can be used to
maximise the profitability of automotive retail operations.
Karen has worked within the Automotive Industry for over 12 years
and has considerable experience working with manufacturers to
support individual dealer groups. Her career started out within the
Vauxhall Adapt Marketing team and more recently she was Regional
Dealer Marketing Manager for BMW UK . For the last four years she
has provided Marketing Consultancy to the major dealer
groups.
GMAP Consulting currently work with many UK-based and overseas
manufacturers to assist them in their market representation
planning and sales target setting. On the dealer side their
experience is also vast and they provide a range of used car market
intelligence services such as customer profiling, market
analysis and mapping, sales planning, stock profiling and
assistance with local marketing.
