GMAP Consulting Appoints New Managing Director

GMAP Consulting, the Retail Network Planning and Market Intelligence arm of the Skipton Information Group has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director to lead the business and provide the driving force behind their expansion.

Kirk Dobie joins the business after a highly successful first quarter and at an increasingly exciting time in the development of GMAP. He brings with him a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and valuable expertise, which will help strengthen this rapidly growing and ambitious business.

Most recently Kirk was Head of Marketing Services at Equifax, where he created a successful re-launch of the marketing services business and developed a new and successful data reseller strategy. Previous to that he was Sales and Marketing Director at Experian's Business Strategies Division, where he helped grow the division, from virtual start up in the early 90's into a significant market player across multiple countries. Kirk began his highly successful career with ACNielsen before moving to Experian in 1989.
