EuroDirect Wins Prestigious Queen's Award for Services to the Marketing Industry

EuroDirect have been accredited with Britain's most coveted commercial award by being the only Marketing Services company to be honoured with a Queen's Award for Enterprise this year.

The database marketing and customer intelligence specialist has won the award in the Innovation category, reflecting the company's dedication to investment in research, and leading edge product development. EuroDirect's range of pioneering products have enabled marketers to better target consumers and analyse the markets they work in, using advanced and accurate data and marketing information systems.

This recognition of EuroDirect as one of British Industry's top achievers is particularly prominent this year. Not only marking EuroDirect's 10th Anniversary but also during a period when the marketing sector is experiencing a great deal of turbulence and change, with the future availability of the Electoral Roll for marketing purposes uncertain. EuroDirect has continued its efforts in the face of this uncertainty, with the development of innovative marketing solutions and continued investment in education and training with their university award schemes. As such this esteemed award has been presented to EuroDirect for its initiative and dedication to advancement in the marketing industry.

Following a successful year, which saw EuroDirect achieve growth of 32%, there is a planned move into new premises in Leeds with its subsidiary GMAP Consulting and sister company Callcredit plc.

John Dobson, Managing Director of EuroDirect comments: "During a difficult time in the marketing industry, when budgets are being cut and issues surrounding data protection and opt out are prevalent, we are proud and honoured to see our hard work rewarded with the Queen's Award for Enterprise."

"This endorsement recognises the commitment and enthusiasm of each and every employee of EuroDirect and GMAP Consulting towards advances in the marketing industry."
