EuroDirect launches Callcredit's Pre-screen services, opening up the Use of Credit Data in Direct Marketing

EuroDirect has announced it will now be offering the use of Callcredit's Credit Data to direct marketers, completing the "full service" solution they can now offer to clients. Pre-screening, scoring and risk modelling will now be available as part of an enlarged service offering.

As part of a continued focus on innovation in the data cleaning and targeting arena, EuroDirect can now enable clients to Pre-screen their prospect files against negative Credit Data. This service enables Clients to choose to exclude consumers known to have negative risk filed against them from their prospect mailings. For members of Share, Callcredit's closed user group, pre-screening against default and delinquent data enables them to remove higher-risk prospects from their mailing lists either at the data selection stage or as part of a wider data cleaning or pre-mailing enhancement programme. This new service provides an important alternative solution to the traditional sources of pre-screening services. It signals additional choice and brings much needed competition into this area of direct marketing. Clients will benefit from rapid turnaround times and substantial cost savings by the entry of EuroDirect into this market.

Also available in this series is a range of Marketing Risk Scores and Risk Indicators which can be utilised to maximise response, uplift conversion and drive down the cost of acquisition. Modelling services from EuroDirect can greatly assist clients in setting their cut off scores, helping ensure responsible lending through more targeted prospecting. By identifying consumers that match the profile of a lender's current customers, they are able to target consumers with a more appropriate product offering that they are confident suits their needs and minimises the risk of bad debt
