EuroDirect Launch MICROVISION 2006
This summer sees EuroDirect launch their latest version
of MICROVISION. As with all their products, EuroDirect have a vast
team of developers and product managers working on product
developments throughout the year and MICROVISION is no exception.
The new version uses cutting edge technology to provide streamlined
marketing intelligence functionalities that meet the ever-growing
demands of the direct marketing
industry.
MICROVISION is the world's leading marketing intelligence system,
developed for the UK and countries all over the globe by marketers
for marketers. The new version of MICROVISION provides a wealth of
enhanced functionality to assist direct marketers, market analysts
and network planners alike.
One of the exciting new features is the 'Profile Comparison'
functionality which enables users to analyse one CAMEO profile
against another to identify 'goodness of fit'. This allows users to
compare customer profiles for different products against each other
to identify key products for cross-sell and upsell. Similarly,
market research profiles can be compared against a customer profile
to identify new products that would appeal to the same audience.
This is invaluable when looking at affinity relationships or when
planning product diversification. In addition, MICROVISION now
allows users to compare different media and marketing channel
profiles to identify the best channels and media types for
different groups of customers.
The 'Profile to Catchment Comparison' functionality works in a
similar way allowing users to compare customer or market research
profiles against retail catchments or trade areas instead. This
enables users to identify the best stores or branches to launch and
promote specific product lines or in which to develop in-store
affinity marketing campaigns.
As part of the build, MICROVISION has also been updated with the
latest postal and mapping data and the 2006 versions of the CAMEO
Classifications.
