Coactiva saves West Midlands Fire Service time and money with new performance improvement contract

WMFS

Coactiva has today announced a new contract with West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) to help improve service delivery through more effective reporting.

Expert in business intelligence and performance improvement, Coactiva’s award-winning Aspireview Performance Management Software will help WMFS to present accurate, timely performance information.

Aspireview’s powerful dashboard tool is capable of operating throughout all parts of West Midlands Fire Service helping to further establish a performance culture from frontline service delivery teams up to the Principal Officers and elected members of the Fire Authority.  The Aspireview system trial during the first months of 2015 will allow WMFS to view all of its performance indicators, projects and risk information in real time in one place, even on smart phones or tablet devices.

Karen Gowreesunker, from the Principal Officer Support Team based at WMFS Headquarters in Birmingham said: “Aspireview has the potential to solve our performance, project and risk management needs. Following organisational changes resulting from significant budget reductions over a number of years – and with more to come - self-scrutiny and providing value for public money are all the more important. If successful, our trial of Aspireview should enable us to achieve a more streamlined and efficient approach to planning and executing excellently all aspects of our service delivery to our communities.”

Carol Cornes, Director of Consulting, Coactiva part of the Callcredit Information Group said: “As funding continues to put financial pressures on fire and rescue services the need for change and efficiency is greater than ever.  Managing and improving performance through effective software is one way emergency services can save time both now and in the future.”
