City of Edinburgh Council adds Credit Reference data to Intercept RBV

City of Edinburgh Council has added the Credit Reference (CRA) module to their implementation of Intercept RBV for the verification of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims.

The CRA module uses credit reference data to automatically analyse in real time all claims identified by Coactiva's software as high risk and summarise discrepancies in a simple format for immediate use by claims assessors or fraud officers. 

The CRA module immediately meets the additional level of verification for high risk claims required by the DWP when using a risk based approach.  It also allows the assessment of risk to be further refined, extending the pot of low/medium risk claims and so increasng the cost and time saving benefits to Edinburgh.

The Coactiva software is the only solution to offer Credit Reference data integration.
