Callcredit Throws Its Hat Into The Ring As Rally Car Sponsor

Callcredit Information Group has donated £1,000 to sponsor a car taking part in this year's White Hat Rally, in aid of ChildLine.

The car, which will be driven by Callcredit's Group Security Manager, Michael Brown, and the five strong 'Grubozaboyschikov' team, cost less than £500, which qualifies for the category of 'banger'. Other entry categories include vintage cars and cars in fancy dress. The team is representing the Northern UK Security Group (NUKSG) which provides informal networking opportunities for Information Security

Participants will set off on September 24th from Laon in France and must drive their less than well-equipped vehicles to Venice in Italy in three days.

All profits raised from the rally are donated to NSPCC ChildLine and Michael is hoping that his team will raise over £5,000 in total.

Michael said; "We're hoping that the White Hat Rally is going to be a lot of fun for us, but more importantly it's going to raise a big sum of money for a really worthwhile cause. We're extremely grateful to Callcredit for sponsoring us £1,000, and to everyone else who has given us sponsorship and donations. Without this support the rally wouldn't be able to make the difference that it does."

Earlier this year Callcredit employees and clients raised almost £8,000 by completing the Coast 2 Coast cycle ride in two days.
