Callcredit supports Earth Hour

Callcredit Information Group's offices across the UK will be in darkness for an hour this Saturday night as the company supports Earth Hour, the global campaign to raise awareness of climate change.

All lights will be turned off in their 8 regional offices from 20.30 to 21.30 with colleagues encouraged to show their support by switching off at home.

Earth Hour is supported by millions of people across the globe, encouraging people to turn off their lights for one hour to take a stand against climate change.

"Callcredit has a wide range of initiatives in place to reduce our impact on the environment and Earth Hour is a campaign that the business and employees are delighted to support. We are proud to help increase its reach that little bit further" said Gavin McNaughton, Group Head of Commercial Services at Callcredit.

Minimising its impact on the environment is just one element of Callcredit's philosophy of being a responsible corporate citizen. The company also works to benefit society - both by supporting national charities, and by directly helping disadvantaged local communities through employee volunteering.
