Callcredit Partners with the British Heart Foundation

MBHlogoCallcredit Information Group has committed to a year-long partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to support its 50th year anniversary appeal: Mending Broken Hearts.

The 800-strong Callcredit team, based at locations across the UK, voted to support a health-based cause and will organise a range of fundraising activities across the year to generate as much money as possible for nation's heart charity.

Launched last month, the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal is one of the BHF's most ambitious projects to date. Its goal is simple - to fund the research that could begin to literally 'mend broken hearts' and bring hope to millions. Currently, the human heart cannot heal itself, so once your heart 'breaks', it stays that way. This ground-breaking research will help the BHF learn how to teach the heart to 'heal itself'.

Kate Shanley , Mending Broken Hearts Appeal Director at the BHF said: "We rely on the generosity of the public to support our lifesaving work, so this partnership and commitment from Callcredit is a great boost. The money raised towards our Mending Broken Hearts Appeal will literally help us bring hope to millions."

From sponsored bike rides to quizzes, walks to dress down days, Callcredit's UK wide team will take part in a variety of fundraising events.

John McAndrew, Chief Executive at Callcredit commented: "Our colleagues have selected a charity that means a lot to them and we're very excited about the fundraising challenge ahead. The work that the British Heart Foundation carries out is extremely important so we hope to raise as much money to support them as we possibly can."

The charity partnership is part of Callcredit's wider Responsible Business Programme.
