Callcredit Information Group Recognised for Business Success

Marketing and credit insight specialist Callcredit Information Group has taken second place in an independent ranking of the top private equity-backed companies in the UK.

The Sunday Times Deloitte Buyout Track 100 assesses company success in terms of revenue generated over the past two years. In its first entry in the annual rankings, Callcredit Information Group, with headquarters in Leeds and operations in Bristol and Gerrards Cross, has been placed second in the nation.

The Group was lauded for its progress, both before and after its recent takeover by majority investors Vitruvian Partners, its business growth, and a 173 per cent increase in profits from 2006 to 2008.

The accolade for Callcredit Information Group also comes on the heels of its Microsoft Gold Certified Partnership  accreditation for 2010. The Gold Partnership underlines the Group's dedication to excellence across three separate competencies: Data Management Solutions, ISV (Independent Software Vendor)/ Software Solutions and Customer Development Solutions, recognising the organisation's ability to deliver high calibre generic and bespoke software and data products. The Gold Partner Certification involves attaining the highest levels of customer service, technical specialism and quality service throughout the organisation.
