Callcredit hires new Industry Relations Director
New appointment builds on success of 2008.
Callcredit Information Group (CIG) today announces the appointment of Jan Smith, who will be joining the Credit Solutions Division as Industry Relations Director.
Jan Smith joins CIG from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service
(CCCS), where she was Head of External Affairs, and will be
reporting into John McAndrew, Managing Director of Callcredit
Credit Solutions.
As Industry Relations Director, Smith's position will focus on
maintaining and building additional corporate relationships with
government departments, pertinent industry bodies, trade
associations and other regulatory organisations. Her appointment to
this role demonstrates the importance of CIG's engagement with all
stakeholders across the industry, enabling them to monitor
developments, as well as ensure that any changes are understood
within the business and that CIG's views are well represented. Jan
will be supported by Louise Galloway, Head of Industry
Relations.
