Callcredit employees are taking to the hills in aid of the British Heart Foundation

36 employees from Callcredit Information Group are taking on the British Heart Foundation's (BHF) gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

The team, who are based at Callcredit's Leeds head office, will be scaling the county's toughest peaks on Saturday 23 July. In just one day, they will climb Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

The British Heart Foundation is Callcredit's charity of the year and the team hopes to raise more than £3,000 through this event alone, to support the vital work of the nation's heart charity.

David Swift, Group Marketing Director for Callcredit and challenge participant said: "It's fantastic to see such a large number of Callcredit employees willing to take on this difficult challenge, to raise much needed funds for this worthwhile charity. The British Heart Foundation is our chosen charity of the year and we're determined to raise as much as we can to support them, regardless of blisters and exhausation!"

Daniel Routt, BHF event organiser, said: "Sadly heart disease is the UK's biggest killer and I am so grateful to the team from Callcredit for taking part and supporting us in what is our 50th birthday year. I wish them the best of luck and hope others will sign up and join them, it really is a fantastic event and a lot of fun."
