Callcredit appoints Head of Payments as sector seeks to cope with changing regulatory and competitive landscape

Callcredit Information Group has appointed Andrea Cox as Head of Payments to help drive growth in the UK and internationally and to support its clients in a growing sector that faces increasing regulatory change.

Experts in data, regulation, verification and compliance, Callcredit already works with businesses across financial services, retail, gaming, insurance and public sector. It assists payment providers with ID verification and anti-fraud measures, helping businesses to know their customers, meet anti money laundering (AML), compliance and affordability requirements and complete credit scoring activities.

The payments industry is experiencing significant change with increasing regulation, the introduction of PSD2 and new alternative ways to pay such as electronic wallets, other forms of online payments, and cryptocurrency. Andrea’s appointment will support clients wanting to protect and grow their business with online solutions. With over 18 years’ experience in Financial Service, with more than half a dozen of those in the payments industry and seven years at Callcredit, Andrea is ideally positioned to assist the sector and support clients in a changing market.
