Hoople select Coactiva to increase revenues at Herefordshire Council

Herefordshire Council will be able to increase council tax revenues thanks to a partnership that Hoople Limited has forged with local government data specialists Coactiva, part of the Callcredit Information Group.

Hoople is a private company created in April 2011 that is jointly owned by Herefordshire Unitary Council and Wye Valley NHS Trust. Hoople provide a number of financial and human resources services to their founding partner Herefordshire Council.

Coactiva’s ThreeSixty Online tool will be used by Hoople’s Revenues & Benefits division to increase Herefordshire Council’s council tax revenues. Hoople will access unique, powerful financial and residency intelligence using ThreeSixty Online to trace absconded debtors, assess ‘ability to pay’ and take action against individuals that commit council tax fraud.

Anne Bradbury, Revenue and Benefits Service Manager at Hoople, said: “When Hoople was formed in 2011, one of our main aims was to rationalise, improve and provide better value support services to Herefordshire Council.

“ThreeSixty Online will allow us to increase the amount of council tax revenue that is fed-through to Herefordshire Council by increasing collection rates and ensuring that discounts and exemptions are awarded only to those individuals that are eligible.”
