Callcredit announces National Deceased Register added to improvemydata.com

Callcredit Information Group has revealed that the National Deceased Register is to be used within its self-service data cleansing and enhancement tool improvemydata.com.

Improvemydata.com is an easy to use web-based tool, which uses a broad range of datasets such as Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF) CAMEO classifications and the National Change of Address file (NCOA) to assist marketers with data profiling, cleansing and enhancement.

Callcredit already use two existing datasets to identify deceased details, however incorporating The Ark's National Deceased Register (NDR) will improve the precision of these further. The National Deceased Register differs from other files in the UK market in that it is built using data derived from the management of financial services products including life insurance, pensions and annuities. The file does not contain any volunteered data and, as such, delivers consistently high levels of accuracy.

Martin Jaggard, Managing Director at The Ark said “We’re delighted that our National Deceased Register (NDR) will soon be available to users of improvemydata.com and that Callcredit’s customers will benefit from the increased coverage and accuracy that the NDR file brings to the removal of deceased individuals from marketing campaigns.  30% of the NDR contains records not found on any other commercial deceased suppression product and NDR is very competitively priced to all users, meaning there is no reason not to screen your data regularly”

Zoe Palethorpe, Head of Products & Propositions at Callcredit added “improvemydata.com uses a wide range of quality datasets to provide users with the most efficient and effective address management, data cleansing and consumer analysis solution on the market today. We’re pleased to be in a position to add the NDR to the service; further enhancing the high levels of accuracy and breadth of data which we know our customers find invaluable”
